Caleb and Emma's first cherry blossom outing at the Tidal Basin — Our first “date”

God placed us both on the sixth floor of Pyon-Chen Hall our freshman year at the University of Maryland, where we met and got to know each other through a mutual set of friends, as well as through our participation in Reformed University Fellowship (RUF), our Christian campus ministry. Our interest in each other led to an early morning Metro ride to DC to see the cherry blossoms in April 2023 (which Caleb still insists wasn't a date). A few weeks later, after an awkward late-night walk and conversation, we officially started dating. We fell in love with each other over the next three years at UMD and began building the foundations of a relationship that will, God willing, last us the rest of our lives. Then, on May 16th, under the guise of a graduation photo shoot, Caleb proposed to Emma, and she said yes! Enjoy this selection of photos from our first three years together!
